Steinberg's Tchaikovsky 4
Each Steinberg release from HDTT is something to be celebrated; the fact that his name is less storied than that of Szell or Munch says more about capitalism than about music. Here, Steinberg gives a bold, straightforward reading, the orchestra plays beautifully, and the sound is excellent.
