Astounding
Although the interpretation of the music isn't very subtle (frankly I had never heard of this conductor - my bad), that's well compensated by the quality of the recording. The famous acoustics of The Concertgebouw are helpful, but apart from that: for a 60 year old recording the quality is astounding. This might be the closest I've ever gotten to an honest representation of a full blown symphony orchestra out of my setup (which is a bit upsetting... where was this quality all these years?). Also impressive are the dynamics: this recording can go loud, but at no point I felt the need to turn down the volume. Overall it's a bit bass heavy, which might count for its impressiveness - listen to that tuba and bass-trombones go, under the rumble of the double basses and timpani - and that might not be everyone's cup of tea. This was a blast for my speakers though. They were clearly enjoying themselves. Highly recommended if your DAC can handle this DSD format.

Another Swan Lake
I have several recordings with different conductors and orchestras from different eras. At the moment i often hear Jurowski but this one is also fantastic. Very clean sound with subtle details, great orchestra. Recommended.
All the best!!!!!
The subtlety of sound, the spread of sound field, the separation of musical instruments and the dynamic range of sound are all the best. Should definitely buy it!!!!!
Fistoulari
So famous for his ballet readings, you won't believe till you hear it yourself. The recording is a wonder especially in higher bit rate DSD.
Great classic album
It's a very good album because of its quality sound recording. All audiophiles must have it. I highly recommend it.
