I like the interpretation
I like the interpretation. Slightly disappointed with the Pure DSD sound, probably because we have been spoilt by much better efforts.

SIBELIUS Symphony No. 2 - Monteux / LSO
Good but the DSD 256 transfer can be a little "bright" at times.

Magnificent in every respect
The crystal clear, deep soundstage lets us in on a performance simultaneously clear-eyed and brimming with passion and electricity. One can clearly hear every superb choir in the LSO playing for Monteux like their lives depended on it. Desert island stuff (and most of the time, I can take or leave Sibelius).

Warm & heartful sound.
The worm sound of the orchestra is impressive. On the other hand, the texture is always clear. Excellent.
Sibelius 2 Monteux/LSO
Beautiful music, performance and remastering.
