This is a very musical tape recording. A bit noisy but with a high end DAC that is not a problem.

I'd heard about this recording but not been able to find a good copy of it. So I was delighted to be able to get this download from HDTT. The download was easy and I am delighted with the result. It has fulfilled all my expectations.
Ravel: A Classic Recording
This is a classic recording of this wonderful piece by Ravel with the usual great sonics I expect from HDTT. Highly recommended.
Fantastic
Fantastic transfer of a classic performance. The sound quality is really spectacular, easily one of the best sounding recordings I've ever heard. The detail, ambience, and 3-D sound stage are pretty amazing. So basically, there have been no meaningful advances in audio recording quality in the last 63 years! Perhaps they should go back to two or three microphones and vacuum tube technology? Just saying...
