Pete Fountain - The Blues
An excellent quality version of this album. Very low noise and very good stereo separation. A classic sixties analog tape sound. Pete Fountain is in fine form and the orchestra backing complements his playing.

Delightful big band jazz in great sound
Not the "deepest" or" most profound" offering in the HDTT catalog, but it is one of the most enjoyable. Good quality big-band jazz of the old-fashioned kind, played about perfectly by Fountain and his people. And the HDTT DXD sound! Gotta love it!
