Pete Fountain Salutes The Great Clarinetists in Style
A smooth, liquid clarinet backed by a sometimes overwhelming orchestral accompaniment. Mr. Fountain's playing manages to overcome the orchestral climaxes every time though. The quality of the recording is very good and the arrangements show off Mr. Fountain's abilities to great effect. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Expressly Dance Music at its best!
Big sound from a big band enthusiastically replaying 30-40s favorites with Pete Fountain decorating the orchestra playing. Fine, dynamic and mellow. Good for big bands, dance music and Pete Fountain collectors.
