Nice addition
I have several recordings (Klemperer, Mackerras, Böhm, Ludwig, Walter, Herreweghe) of Mozart's 40 & 41 symphonies and think this version is a nice addition. As always it's hard to choose a favorite since it's a matter of personal choice. The interpretation is nice but i prefer Böhm on DG, Mackerras on Linn or Walter on HDTT. Even the tape transfer is very good it's still behind Mackerras on Linn or Herreweghe on Phi. I would rate this recording with 4 stars and think the disc is somewhere in my Top 5.
