Eric Dolphiy is an acquired taste even for extremely open minded jazz box
As for the transfer it is as good as it gets. Dolphy was a huge Influence on John Coltrane. His unusual choice of bass clarinet as his main instrument, puts him in a class of his own. Alone together duo with Richard Davis should stand a a pinnacle of collaborative empathy in a improvisational session.

AWESOME!!
Highly recommended. I also hope that HDTT will make Mingus-Dolphy partnership works in the near future. Thanks in advance.
