Hard to believe this is a 1961 vocal recording. Great sound. Of course, a beautiful voice and nice dynamics with live audience that never distract from her vocals. Recommended addition.
Ella Fitzgerald in Hollywood
I love every second of it. Great audio quality too.
Ella In Hollywood
Quality of the recoding is very good. The flaws in the original recording remain in terms of the limitations of the miking available at the time. Ms. Fitzgerald is in top form with the "scat" lyrics she substitutes for tor the published lyrics when she can't remember them. For this reason, the album may not be to everyones taste but her prefedct pitch enables her to carry it off.
Good performance.I love it.
The sound is very good
