Respect
24-bit / 192 kHz download sounds great. I may not have the most expensive equipment, but you don't see records of this high level often. The HDTT team deserves respect.
Very good but not excellent
I've reviewed Cootie Williams here and let me say it is a masterpiece of an achievement by HDTT. This release it is quite not. Let's start with the spurious frequencies I detected with MusicScope: 28.8Khz with a -79dB level and 56.8Khz with a -90dB level. If the second one will be likely to be ignored by any good DAC as it is in the DSD Noise Shaping frequency range, the first could be more troublesome. Nothing unfeasible to get rid of yet something that should have not been there in first place. In more than one track I heard some distorsions, maybe a near clipping original mastering level, maybe to much gain in DSD Mastering. Notably (but not limited to) drums on track number two. All in all I would not call this a Reference Grade of a release, but it is well worth purchasing.
