To ensure the highest fidelity for modern listeners, the recording was edited in DXD PCM from a DSD256 Master, a process designed to preserve the intricate spatial nuances and dynamic range of the original 1957 Chicago performance. The technical restoration utilized state-of-the-art audiophile components to maintain the integrity of the original analog signal, including a VPI HW-40 Anniversary Direct Drive Turntable equipped with an Ortofon MC Anna cartridge and a Merrill Audio Jens Phono Preamp. The digital processing chain featured a Merging Anubis Analog to Digital Converter powered by a Teddy Pardo Linear Power Supply and clocked by an Antelope Audio 10MX Atomic Clock. Power Conditioning: Shunyata Research Everest 8000 for all components with Shunyata Sigma-X Power Cords. All components are grounded to Shunyata ALTAIRA Hubs.
