Another great piece of reproduction in DSD

Another great piece of reproduction for classical music in DSD! Through the sound effects of low notes performed by the string instruments, one should feel the recording quality in terms of high fidelity enhanced in DSD; though it might not be the best compared with the other recordings we have in DSD from HDTT, this piece is worth my 5-stars rating. Great job again, guys at HDTT!

Excellent performace

Execution and recording are excellent, the instruments are reproduced in their place and give the acoustic scene an impressive look.

A rare opportunity

Jascha Heifetz was, probably, the greatest twentieth-century exponent of his instrument. Violin at its best, although some memorable recordings are ... more memorable than others. The Bruch is one of two takes under Sir Malcom Sargent. A memorable 1963 execution, well remastered and absolutely pleasant to the ear. The Mozart is coeval, and as pleasantly remastered as the Bruch. Sir Malcom conducts the New Symphony Orchestra of London with a sense of supple complementarity to the soloist. Heifetz always boasts a brisk pace in his music-making. That might come as unusual to certain listeners. However, the purity of his sound, as produced by the unequalled Guarneri del Gesù he plays with immense sense of refinement, will grace you with more and more pleasure as you will keep coming back to this beautiful duo of great violin literature.
