Brahms Double Concerto - Oistrakh, violin / Fournier, cello / Philharmonia Orchestra - Galliera
Probably the best recording of this masterpiece.Oistrakh and Fournier the ideal interpreters of the Brahms double concert. Alceo Galliera was one of the greatest italian conductors of the 20th century Fabulous recording.Ibought the original version ( Emi good recording ) but this remastering is much better
A sound comparison
I bought both the PCM 24/192 and DSD 128 versions of this recording for comparison, and think after listening several times that DSD 128 has the edge. The performance is wonderful, the sound in both versions is not up to that of the best recent orchestral recording.
Gran versión y espectacular sonido!!!
