Smooth and delicious.
Wonderful sound, bewitching performances. Not music to provoke you or even make you think. Just make you feel right through tonal harmony.

A great mixture
Hard bop with rhythm & blues structures developed in a cultured, refined way that offers a soft texture capable of captivating even the most skilled jazz musicians. The work is also remarkable from a technical point of view. The transfer from tape gives us a magical "Blue" Mitchell trumpet capable of being the protagonist without ever interfering destructively with the other instruments, thanks to a well-kept tonal balance. The detail is exemplary and allows you to enjoy all the tonal nuances of the instruments that stand out in a plastic way in a wide and deep soundstage. The dynamics are also at levels of pure audiophilia. strappoacusticohiend.weebly.com

Nice Album - Blue's Moods
I really love this album. This instruments played in this quartet is excellent. The whole album here is that Mitchell stretches out with refreshing arrangements and his style of work is a big success. The first cut is a very good number with some great trumpet is a classic; very well done. The mustang commercial in 1965 but don't hold me to that. "Scrapple from the apple is a classic parker tune that blue plays to perfection. The album ends with 2 very strong lyrical numbers with vitality "sweet pumkin" and "i wish i knew". All good stuff and worthy of a full 5 stars. Lyrical, bluesy, sweet and energetic blue mitchell's album is a great addition to any jazz collection. Thanks to the sound Engineer – Ray Fowler for Transferring from a 15ips 2-track tape is a Excellent Job
