Time Machine
To be able to experience such a clear and coherent recording of Billy Holiday is a gift. There are only a few such recordings that exist. And this mastering by HDTT is quickly turning into one of my all time favorites. Highly recommended.

One of her better recording sessions
Havinig hear the 2 track master I can say that there was no audible difference between it and the HDTT transfer to FLAC. If you love Billie as I do then you won’t be disappointed

Excellent
Better than what I thought

Don't miss out
Other reviewers here have pretty much said all that need be said but another "thumbs up" can't hurt. Some might say that LadyDay was past her prime and they are probably correct. That being said, whatever percent she was at is so good that listening to this album makes one very happy to get the chance to hear this artistry. I have several of the CD re-issues of the mostly mono recordings but this album makes me ache in a way those have not. On top of that, the band is in top form and not just along for the ride. I would encourage anyone on the fence about purchasing this album to go ahead and make the purchase so as to have more time to listen to it during your life. The recording is fantastic (I purchased DSD128) and should be part of a class on how to do it for aspiring engineers.

Billie at her best
A friend once played this lovely album from LP, a very good recording. The SQ of it as a PCM download is ok, the DSD64 download even better, however this HDTT version is even more natural.
