Bernstein conducts Tchaikovsky
Few composers have spoken so directly to the listener’s imagination as Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. His music, born of a deeply emotional temperament and shaped with the hand of a consummate master of orchestral color, has long occupied a special place in the heart of the concert-going public.
