Barney Kessel Plus Big Band - Bossa Nova

This Bossa Nova title may seem deceiving, as it suggests a blend of early Rock n' Roll or Rockabilly with a big band influence, resulting in an incredibly pleasing album.
Barney Kessel was an influential American jazz guitarist known for his work in the 1940s through the 1990s. Born on October 17, 1923, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, he became one of the leading figures in the West Coast jazz scene and made significant contributions to various styles of jazz music.
