Great session and recording

super good sound
Very good sound quality

Was gone, was never forgotten and now back again!
I acquired the vinyl album many years ago. Sadly, it met its demise when a girl friend accidentally stood on it. I always intended to replace the album but I ditched the turntable for a CD deck and somehow never got round to locating a CD version. I'm not even sure there is one but no matter, thanks to High Definition Tape Transfers I have now acquired a very nice digital version that knocks spots of the old vinyl version (and the rubbish kit it got played through to be utterly fair). . The musicians on this album are legendary and it is fitting that the the recording engineer, Tom Dowd, is something of a legend too. Sadly, none of these guys are still alive but this album is a great memorial to their talents! To my ear it It still sounds as fresh as it did when I first heard it back in the early sixties.
Very nice
