Disappointing

Definitely not a Decca/London winner. Sonics really not at all top-notch, and the performances are a bit staid, lacking drive, snap and intensity. This is altogether, too polite, slow-paced and lacking the requisite celebratory joy and vigour these pieces demand. Sorry.
