Uniquely, Mancini is an elegant showcase of Henry Mancini's ability to blend jazz, swing, and orchestral pop into a seamless listening experience. Known primarily for his iconic film scores, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Peter Gunn, and The Pink Panther, among others, Mancini used this album to step away from his cinematic fame and explore a broader musical palette in a purely studio setting. The result is a polished, genre-crossing album that radiates mid-century class and creativity, with other Mancini titles, the sonics are excellent.

Pure unadulterated fun
Once again I am impressed with what Bob Witrak is able to pull off of an analog tape. I'd never thought to hear this degree of clarity and dynamics from a four track tape. Brilliant. And the music is just fun!
