Russian mists
An absolute gem. Among best renditions for such little russian masterpieces. Tamara shines like no other, Ansermet and his orchestra are able to restitute the poisonous character of the circassian princess surrounded by an aura of mystery. Same agogy sustains Kikimora and her curses. Of great art.

Decca's First Stereo
This recording was Decca's first in stereo done in Geneva with Ansermet way back in May,1954. It was never released on a full priced Decca or London vinyl and only released on bargain labels in 1968 and 1972. I was quite surprised at the high quality of the recordings from these tapes. The pieces are quite rare, although they are very enjoyable, with typical Russian themes interspersed in pieces. Highly recommended.
Glazunov et al
Ansermet and the Orch de Suisse Romande are a great combination, and this is yet another lovely recording beautifully remastered.
Balakariref
Considering the age of the recording, excellent audio...
