Togheter for the first time. Armstrong/Ellington
Excellent sound. TOP👍👍

Great Music
Perhaps it's my age but all the best recordings I own come from the late fifties and early sixties and this is no exception. It may be mic placement, the microphones themselves or the fact that they were recorded to tape which imparts it's own nature on the recording. It just sounds so unforced. Great music and a great transfer.

Mister Jazz and Colleagues
Well : this is a nice transfer done by HDTT. Very analog-like, smooth ; both piano and trumpet have strong presence, Armstrong's voice is great. But, on my system - and it's very rare to me - i keep a preference for the vinyl (the SR52074 one remastered by Classic Records). Oh, not by far, a little margin. Maybe a little more vivid, and specially with a greater impact from drums. Overall, you won't find any better material in Hi-resolution. HDTT' transfer is very smooth and pleasant in DSD256. Just sit and relax, with a good coffee. Last addition from me, considering we are facing the same recording jam-session, the "best" sound is reached in "The Great Reunion". Absolutely gorgeous. But sources are different and "The Great Reunion" is a direct dsd transfer...
