Stokowski Rhapsodies

As an admirer of Stokowski it offered me a completely new way to appreciate his music, completely different from the CD’s (which are increasingly hard to find)

review of stokowski rhapsodies

i own sveral commercial recordings of this cd. I was especially interested in a comparison of Enesco "Roumanian Rhapsody number 1" from the HDTT disc to other redbook masterings on the RCA Victor label. In general the HDTT version was somewhat smoother and quieter, removing a non musical frequency, which i heard on other recordingd.
