This was one of the great piano trios ever. They knew each other's musical ways to perfection, and on this particular session it shows. If you add in the outstanding DXD sound from Bob Witrak and HDTT, you've got a complete winner, and a no-brainer for audiophiles and jazz lovers alike.

After listening to this release for the fifth time, purchased Aug. 24th, 2019, I have found that HDTT sorta knows what they are doing. The quality of transfer is great. As to the trio, Oscar Peterson and crew seam to be enjoying themselves - a lot - the music is as real as it gets. The interpretations of the songs are very well done. Obviously Oscars own songs, Thag's Dance and Kadota's Blues needed no interpretation. As a fan of Oscar Peterson I like...…….
