The pun is atrocious, but the tracks are fabulous.
Back in the days when light classical music actually made it onto the pop charts – as late as 1950 or so – these were well-known pieces of popular music. In fact some of them were used and overused as background music for Farmer Gray cartoons etc. Not surprising; it's terrific music and deserves to be popular!
It's popularity doesn't stop it from being delightful. Especially when played as well as this by the great musicians of the Boston Pops (actually Boston Symphony, but you knew that).
