Brahms Hungarian Dances Dvořák Slavonic Dances - Fritz Reiner
This familiar music was played by a familiar conductor was thoroughly enjoyable start to finish. I think the tempo was just right, the quality of the sound also excellent.

Reiner Dvorak Slavonic dances
Good sound & performances. But took forever to download even though download internet speed tested at 35mbps at my end...it was coming in so slow I had to do it overnight. 24/192 normally takes less than 30 minutes
Fritz Reiner Brahms Hungarian Dances
Had the LP of this but it got damaged. Always wanted to replace it. This sounds great, nice to have again.

Reiner's Vienna Brahms/Dvorak Dances
It's great to hear Budapest-born Reiner with an old world orchestra, especially the Vienna Philharmonic. These dances are full of native Hungarian verve and color enhanced by Reiner's unerring sense of pulse and structure. The HDTT remastering is by far the best this recording has enjoyed, with considerably greater clarity and presence and a more detailed sound stage than the Decca Living Legends transfer. A treat for all lovers of these spicy lollipops.
