Excellent Quality
I am impressed by the quality of the sound transfer compared to regular cd production. Excellent customer service as well. I’ll buy again from HDTT.
Beethoven 6th Symphony Reiner Chicago SO
So much better than RCA’s Goldseal reissue on CD which wasn’t as good as the original Dynagroove LP. Lovely spacious sound with beautiful depth and layering of interplay between the different instruments. Have played it several times and able to enjoy just good the CSO under Reiner really were. The more I play it the more I appreciate his interpretation. Superb in every way! As well as the CD I also downloaded it 24bit/96kHz Flac, converted it to AIFF (still 24/96)..took it into iTunes and burnt to CD. Should sound identical but I swear it sounds even better from the download.??
Very beautiful.
Very great Beethoven: Symphony No. 6 "Pastoral".I recommend it.
Superb recording!
This recording was made in 1962 at the Chicago Symphony Hall. It was recorded on RCA 4-track tape, which was state-of-the-art back then. Fritz Reiner was a conductor who forced his orchestra to produce their best, and this recording is no exception. My version from Tape Transfer is 24 bit192 kHz 2.0.0. The sound on my Cambridge Audio/McIntosh system is spectacular!
Excellent recording!
I purchased the cd of this recording and couldn't be more pleased. Great transfer of this hard to find gem!
