Gil Evans Great Album
I’m late in “discovering” Gil Evans… Out of the Cool was my first album. It is an excellent album and The Individualism of Gil Evans is just as good. HDTT version (DXD / 256.8-24) is very good and clearly captures the subtle, intricate arrangements that Gil Evans excels at.

A great opportunity to hear Gil Evans on his own
I join the other very positive reviews about this album as released by HDTT. I'm listening to the Pure DSD256 release and the sound quality is excellent. More important is the music. As another said, I've never heard Gil Evans except as a backup band to another artist. This is a great opportunity to hear how creative his music is when played on its own.

Simply ex
This beat my cd and vinyl versions - clearly!
What an amazing selection!
I’ve always heard Gil Evans and his orchestra behind other feature artists. This was a chance to hear him for himself, and I was blown away. I will definitely seek out more of just Gil and his orchestra.
