Art Pepper Meets the Rhythm Section is a classic jazz album recorded by saxophonist Art Pepper in 1957. It's considered one of Pepper's finest works and a landmark album in jazz history. The "rhythm section" in the title refers to the musicians who accompanied Pepper during the recording sessions, including Red Garland on piano, Paul Chambers on bass, and Philly Joe Jones on drums. These were all prominent figures in the jazz world, particularly known for their work with Miles Davis.
