From Sousa to Beethoven...the Wide World of the March
I'm not totally subjective here...this was one of the first albums that got me interested in classical music when I was a kid (now many years ago). Re-listening to it now brought back a lot of memories. But that aside, this is a top notch collection of various types of marches, and those who only think of Sousa when they hear "march" (not a bad thing, actually) may be surprised by the variety of music that is found here. Ormandy and the Philadelphia Orchestra are at their considerable best. Highly recommended!
